Meet Your Hosts
Stu and Erandi split their year between Australia and Sri Lanka, where Erandi was born. Over time, the southern coast became more than a place to visit, and Royal Indigo Villa grew from that connection.
The villa took two years to plan. Rather than furnishing it from a catalogue, Stu and Erandi went in search of old pieces across the island: furniture, artefacts, and antique timber doors and windows, each with its own character and history. These pieces now sit throughout the villa, creating a distinctly Sri Lankan feel balanced with an open, relaxed tropical style suited to life by the sea.
The result is a four-bedroom beachfront villa on Talpe’s golden mile, with a private seawater pool overlooking the beach.
For Stu and Erandi, the villa itself is only part of the experience. What matters most is how guests are looked after. Together with their dedicated villa team and in-house chef, they focus on thoughtful service, freshly prepared meals, comfortable rooms and helping guests make the most of their time along the southern coast.
